INFORMATION AND CONTROL CENTRE OF THE PRINTING HOUSE for PREPRESS, PRESS, POSTPRESS

In an environment with growing demand for printing production, we must keep pace with customer demands through perfect equipment and a higher degree of manufacturing integration. The system must be able to handle a growing number of various orders in the shortest possible time and manage important and complicated orders. The ideal tool for meeting these requirements is workflow Prinect from Heidelberg company. This system - containing innovative technologies and automated functions for receiving, control and data processing, for automated imposition, approval and exposure of printing plates – allows you to centrally manage all production stages and distribute pre-prepared data for the device setting and further processing. Besides the error elimination, other advantages include overall optimization of production, economic efficiency and personnel burden.

 

 

Prepress

The graphic studio forms an integral part of our printing house. We process complete prepress of leaflets, magazines, books and other products of the printing industry. Our graphic services include not only printed but also all electronic products (websites, internet magazines, e-books etc.).

Our prepress system uses a modular system Prinect Prepress Manager allowing automatic control with optimization of input printing data, automatic imposition of pages on the sheet with assigning appropriate parameters for screening, process calibration, preview and proofing, preparation of plates, creating presets and archiving.

Electronic sheet assembly is done in Prinect Signa Station.

Electronic data is transmitted on printing plates using a fully automated CtP device HEIDELBERG Suprasetter S105 into B1 format. CtP is calibrated and certified in accordance with the ISO 12647-2 printing standard. Checks and printing preparations include preview control sheet proofing and also certified proofing on EPSON Stylus Pro 4880 and EPSON Stylus Pro 7900 Spectro Proofer.

 

 

Press

Full integration of all process stages is a crucial competitive advantage. For these purposes, we use Prinect Pressroom Manager®. A system that intelligently controls communication in such a way that orders are automatically sent to correct printing machines at the right time, which leads to a significant increase in productivity. Effective utilization of pre-prepared data in presetting leads to a substantial reduction in make-ready times and maculature.

 

Offset printing

We print on sheet-fed offset printing machines from the German producer HEIDELBERG. The machines are calibrated and certified in accordance with the ISO 12647-2 printing standard. In the fall of 2012, we installed a top sheet-fed printing machine Heidelberg CD 102-5 LX2 of B1 format. The machine has five printing units, dispersed varnish and double drying, which allows printing Pantone + CMYK + varnish in a single pass. We are able to print paper up to 720x1020 mm in grammage from 60 g/m2 to 600 g/m2 (up to 1 mm in thickness).

 

Digital printing

For smaller numbers of publications and their operative production, we provide digital printing machines KONICA MINOLTA Bizhub PRESS C1085 with certification according to the ISO 12647-7 printing standard. For black and white printing, we use a digital printing machine KONICA MINOLTA Bizhub PRESS 1052.

 

Personalization of prints

We use PrintShop Mail software for Variable Data Printing on printed materials. They can be supplied with unique texts (address, salutation, password and similar specific information intended for an individual), a unique bar code or a personalized image (a photograph of the customer, his product etc.).

 

 

Postpress

Bookbinding

Printed sheets are then processed on modern bookbinding machines from producers HEIDELBERG, HORIZON, GUK and others. HEIDELBERG Stahlfolder KH-78 folding machine – automatic presetting of the machine, 6 parallel and 4 cross-folds. GUK folding machine. HEIDELBERG ST 100 saddle stitcher – sewn binding V1, staples or eyelets for hanging.  Theisen&Bonitz TB 310 horizontal collating machine. HORIZON SB-07 perfect binder – perfect binding V2. POLAR cutting machine. FOLIANT laminating machine.

We offer a wide range of bookbinding processing such as cutting, folding, creasing, drilling and laminating. Further types of bookbinding - sewn binding V1 with 2 or 4 staples or eyelets for binders, perfect binding V2, softcover binding V4, otabind or hardcover binding V8.
